Very pretty, but cheaply made for the price (over $200). The facets on the shade are plastic and at least 3 of them fell off when I unwrapped the shade. They are held on by the flimsiest of fasteners. I was going to return, but found it a home in my office after all, but it wouldn't be my first choice the next time.

We love this lamp. The purple is subtle when the light is on. Like another reviewer, a few of the crystals had come off during shipping, but they were easy enough to attach. An elegant and contemporary lamp.
