This fixture is a beautiful design and just what the client wanted for her rectangular dining room BUT both the original fixture and the one sent to replace it were welded together improperly at the manufacturer and are CROOKED. So even if you hang it perfectly level, the hub and the two rods that support the horizontal part of the fixture with the lights are not curved the same way, resulting in the fixture looking like it's twisted to one side. Also the hub that both support rods enter does not sit straight either. the replacement fixture had the same issue PLUS a couple of the plastic hold downs for the shades were packed broken - the broken off pieces were NOT in the packing box so obviously it was broken before it was packed. The packing box is also very flimsy, but there was not shipping damage to the exterior and as stated the defect is a manufacturing defect and not from shipping. Very poor quality control on the part of this manufacturer. AND this fixture was NOT inexpensive. The first 3 photos are from the first fixture. The 2nd 3 are from the replacement fixture. So sad. Such a pretty fixture otherwise.
