Ventilateur de plafond 5 pales Tiffany

I ordered this fan to go in my kitchen. It is somewhat harder to put together than other ceiling fans I have installed. The instructions are not very clear. I do love the size and the look of it. For that reason I would recommend this as a purchase!

This is a beautiful 5 blade double sided Tiffany light fan. When it is lit it is so pretty. Pictures below are unassembled because the room isn’t ready for our fan yet. It comes with two rods and pull chain which works well for our high ceiling. It also has a remote control too which we will use most of the time. The pictures don’t show how beautiful this fan is. Tiffany lovers this is your fan!

I have put in 8 ceiling fans between my two houses and this installation has been the most difficult. There are no written directions, it is all pictures and the pictures were a mix between drawings and very unclear photographs. Some parts were labeled with letters, but never labeled on the part and I had so many extra parts than were used. I looked online to see if maybe my printout was off but it was the same online. And there was no instructions on the wiring at all, just some basic wiring about the remote transmitter. I tried to wire the fan without the transmitter for the remote and the fan did not work at all. After I installed the transmitter, the fan clicked but still did not work. It took me a while to realize that I needed to program the remote for anything to happen. In addition to the difficulty with the installation, the nut that holds the lamp fixture on is missing, so I had to put nuts on it and it is crooked so I have to find that nut at a local hardware store I guess. And after I installed with the transmitter it is almost impossible to fit that, the five wires that go to it, the two ground wires from the fan, and my three house wires into the cover that attaches to the ceiling. I searched everywhere online for simple instructions on this fan, but there are none. I am glad that I had some experience of ceiling fans and wiring knowledge. I did not want to pay more for installation than I did for the fan, that would have been ridiculous.

Very beautiful fan/light. Normally I avoid this country of origin but the price was too appealing. Quality better than expected and very well packaged. Everyone praises the stained glass cover. Definitely very pleased with this purchase.
