• All craft-made down rods are 1/2" diameter; with holes for the pin on both ends, but threaded only on one end. This item can work with a longer down rod than what the fan comes with, just not shorter.
• This fan has an integrated light kit that cannot be changed to something else or removed. A blank-out light cover cap is included to give a non-light kit look if wanted to use it.
