The specs should state that a long narrow bulb would work besy on thios tall narrow one bulb fixture. The good news is is that this brand is not "Generation" but "Generation" seems to be a collection by Visual Comfort. A well known quality brand. But I see why it is offered at this lower price, The fixture is metal and "mouth blown glass." Honestly it's hard to believe it's mouth blown...but it seems study enough. To change the bulb (one 60 watt bulb) you will have to lift off the long glass cover. I think it would be a two person job. WORSE, if you don't have complete clearance above for the 20+ in long glass cover you have to unscrew the entire front of the fixture to replace the bulb. You may need a step stool, too or bite the bullet and hire a handyman. It is nice looking and time will tell if it really works and functions as a "motion detector." But with all the issues...I would not recommend it.

These lights add the perfect touch to each side of our garage door. They look very classy and modern and throw off the perfect amount of light! Just a great purchase!!

Had 7 of these fixtures already, no reason to change they are attractive and have being working great for years now. Even but photo cells in some, wasn't sure if the frosted glass would interfere, it doesn't. 2 thumbs up!

Exactly what I wanted! Adds a modern touch. Looks great on freshly painted house. A bit of work to install but worth it.
