Works great for my kitchen. It is amazing that even new houses do not have enough outlets for modern life!

Really useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a surge protector. No way for me to actually test whether or not it works without actually surging the outlet it plugs into, but it does have a USB type C charging port on it so that's a huge plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cords. Cords. Cords. Everything has a different charging cord now, and you only have so many outlets. That's why I love the GE Ultra Pro 5 Outlet USB-C Tap. Not only does it have five regular adapter-spaced outlets with 560 Joules of surge protection, it also has not only a USB port, but also a USB-C port! This is so needed, particularly if you're a Mac or iPhone user. It's easy to use, of course, just plug the surge protector into a standard grounded duplex wall receptacle. In order to actually be able to use all five outlets, it features four in a side-access design for the ultimate in convenience. The surge protector also features automatic shutdown technology to stop power to the devices once surge protection expires. The device is discreet in appearance, as it completely covers the existing wallplate for a seamless look. It can be used over existing wallplate for an easy installation. I just love being able to plug in my many devices all in one charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an outlet on the wall under might nightstand and have been looking for ways to clean up the cord mess under there. The built in USB/USB-C ports have really helped out. Now I can have a single cord that plugs directly into the outlet (USB-C) for charging my phone without using the brick adapters. Streamlined!
