Works perfect. Remote has a small delay

I love this fan, but honestly didn’t realize it wasn’t a light so please keep that in mind. I got this originally cause I didn’t want my kids to have glass cause they throw their stuff up and it breaks the glass of the light but we decided to add light and other areas and just have a fan up there because we have such a little ones and it’s been really good so far However this is not a light. It is just a fan.

The 54″ 5-plywood blade ceiling fan by George Oliver looks great and feels solid—really nice quality overall. My only con, if there is one, is that I wish it came with a light kit or was adaptable to add one. Still love the style!

First off I have to start by saying that this 54in ceiling fan is completely unassembled. Im talking about down to the wiring prior to installing the fan. This fan has so many wires and pieces there is no way that I will be able to assemble it. There are so many tools that you will need some of them I dont even own. Im a 63 year old woman that has no clue how to put together this fan. Like I said its one thing to have someone hang it up for me. But now I have to have someone who can assemble it and who has the proper tools needed. Im completely shocked by the simple fact that this fan came completely apart. I thought by looking at the box that I would probably have to attach the wood slats of the fan. But the whole mechanism is going to need to be put together. Its almost comical to think that the majority of people dont know how to do this type of thing. Im going to have to wait for my son in law to get back from a mission as hes in the Air Force and is in another country at this time. Plus now I have to ask him to not only install the ceiling fan but to put the entire fan and wiring together. I took a picture of the instructions to show you the tools that you are going to need to be able to put together. I am only going to give this 4 stars due to the simple fact that they didnt tell you about the assembly that will need to be done even before you can install it. So disappointed!!
