The lamp is really attractive, it is the look I was hoping for. The shade has a nice black metal exterior and the interior is a brushed powdery gold which does not have that cheap gold look to it. The lamp has a study base and pole. The tubes on the pole have lengthy connections that screw easily together making the pole nice and solid on the heavy base. The only part I wish this lamp has is a little panel directly under the light bulb part so that the light bulbs were not visible when sitting down.

Looks great, but note shades are metal and did arrive with a few dents, and do show smudges easily. Also, be aware the drum shade is pretty short, so light bulbs will be seen as well was cast a high glare if you’re at eye-level with the bottom of the shade (ie: sitting down). I had to switch to A15 size and they don’t give enough light for my needs, but rather that than my retinas burned. Wouldn’t buy again, but such is shopping on the internet.

This is a very sleek looking floor lamp! It took about one minute to assemble. I love the option of using two bulbs or only one. The shade is nice because it pushes the light up and down and not out. So you don’t get reflection in your tv!
