I recently purchased two of these fans because I liked the modern design, however, my overall experience has been a disappointment from the purchase process to the installation. First, when selecting the colors I wanted online, the thumbnail for the black on black fan was displaying the black with nickel finishing and vice versa, which led to me having to contact customer support to ensure I got the right color. More than 2 hours later, 3 customer support reps and about 5 screenshots showcasing the mistake on the website, I proceeded with the purchase of the black on black and white with nickel finishing fans. I had an electrician come out to professional install the fans. However, we ran into a problem with the black on black, as after the installation and upon starting the fan, the unit was making some strange noises started to shake and the blades wouldn’t spin. The electrician told me the motor was dead and I need to return it. Long story short, the next day after further testing and inspecting, I discovered a rock wedged inside one of the blade casings which was grinding on the unit, preventing it from spinning and causing the motor to fail. I literally had to get a hammer and bang this rock out as it was almost cemented inside the unit. Since discovering this, I’ve been reluctant to spend more money for an electrician to come out and install the second fan. The first fan does work now, but the whole process up to this point has been mentally, physically and financially draining. Be careful with this product!!!!
