I absolutely adore this lamp. To my surprise, I was impressed by its exceptional quality. It’s made of heavy metal and incredibly sturdy. It almost resembles an octopus with its numerous tentacles, which help it stay firmly planted on the ground.

Absolutely beautiful! As described and much nicer! The quality appears top notch and the base is very heavy to keep it from falling over. The color is solid black and the lamp shade is well made. Not disappointed!

This lamp is large scale and the lines look contemporary. When you look at the metal finish itself though, it looks a little bit more rustic which was a surprise- but not a bad one. The color of the shade gives off a warm glow. It looks like an expensive lamp and expect it to feel large scaled so it would look nice on a nightstand with a substantial headboard, on a large scale desk, or on an entry table in front of a large piece of artwork. If you have a small place with no other large things around, look for a different lamp- because this lamp is special and would dwarf smaller pieces of furniture and artwork nearby.

Very heavy duty lamp! If you have a table that gets bumped a bit, this would be the perfect lamp for high traffic areas. It is fairly heavy for a table lamp, as the metal spikes that make up the base, are thick like wrought iron fencing. I appreciate that it comes equipped with a bulb too. I love it, it looks stylish as a bedside lamp in my room.
