Great looking globe pendant light with just a little decoration to keep things interesting. Would recommend.

lamp is good but the cord is not straight. So the total visual effect is not very good.

Light fixture is very attractive and of good quality for the price point so disappointing that it didn't work in my space. Ordered this light in oil rubbed bronze with rod. The 5-star is based on whether the rod length works in your space - it didn't in mine as the fixture hung too low with available rod connector lengths. Rods come in 3 segments - 6" 16" 22". I ordered as customer service rep and another reviewer indicated that one could just use one rod in the install and I needed the 16" rod for it to work. Not possible as male connector ends rather then the female required to attach to fixture. Because of the way they screw together, you can use the 6" alone, all 3 for 44" length, and maybe 22" if you disasssembled the canopy connector from the 6" rod and installed on the 16". Although it can be hung without the rod, not really an option as the cord is not attractive -- flat and brown with the copper ground visible. Without the rod, I assume the fixture and ceiling canopy may be different parts as would leave the ceiling canopy and fixture looking unfinished if one just omitted the rod. We purchased the oil brushed bronze with the rod. You can adjust the size of the rod by using one, two or three pieces. It was very easy to install by myself. The White Lined glass is exactly what I was looking for... has the look of a paper lantern (not exactly but very close enough) and the clean feel of glass. The lines on the lantern are not uniform, which is what you would find on a paper lantern. Very happy we chose these to accent our huge kitchen island.
