These are attractive outdoor lanterns with solar powered light. There is an on/off switch at the top in case you just want them off for a while. Although I love the look of the lights, there is one problem for me. They are very light weight. My postal scale shows each weights just over 11 oz. As breezy as it can get where I live, I cannot leave them outdoors. They would blow away! I can only bring them out when I am using them and it is not a breezy/windy day. I was thinking I might be able to open the tops and add a few heavy rocks inside, but I am unable to open the top. That is actually where the little solar panel is and I suspect they don't want anyone messing with that area. You could possibly bury the bottom base in the dirt and then leave them outside, but I have not tried that yet. I'm waiting to make sure we don't get more snow! BTW, I included a photo of the lanterns standing next to a typical bottle of wine to provide scale. Also, the two together provide a soft light at your table outside at night.

These are perfect! They were packaged very well for shipping, nestled in styrofoam to prevent any damage, and arrived safely. They already contained a bit of a charge so were ready for use immediately. They are not super bright but will add just the perfect touch of ambiance to an outdoor setting. I was surprised and very happy to find that they flicker like a lit flame.

These lights are really cool. They have the flickering light. They are the perfect size.

Esthetically pleasing. Looks great on the outdoor dining table.
