Got this awhile back and have sent it back a while ago. It was damaged really bad so I knew it was no use of tring to get it mounted. If I ever get a chance to get it put up I will but not the one that was sent. Hope to hear about this light looks like it will look and work really nice. I Will do a review when I get a replacement for the damaged one. Looks like it will be really nice.

I got this to replace an older recessed light, so I have wiring already in place. Things to love about this: The ring around the bulb is made of metal with a white enameled finish. It will never yellow. The one I am replacing has a plastic/vinyl ring that has yellowed in only a few years. You do not need to go up into the attic to replace your fixture with this kit. It has two arms on either side which fold up when you insert the fixture and spread back out when it is in place. Think of it like a molly bolt.

I ordered a pair of these. I have a dark spot along one side in my dining room and thought they would be great to help me add some light and accent some new artwork. The two fixtures are the perfect size and level of brightness for what I need. I enclosed a picture to give a sense of scale. Won’t light up your room, but will give you the highlight you are looking for. And the swivel is great-really let’s you get a good focus. The installation requires some DIY since they are recessed, but the instructions are very clear and the fixtures easy to install.
