The light arrived very well packaged and protected in the box. One important thing to note is that mounting the fixture to the ceiling/electrical box is quite challenging. The design requires you to hold the entire fixture in place near the electrical box while making the wiring connections. Many other lighting fixtures allow the mounting bracket to be secured first, with the canopy added afterward as a cover, but that is not the case here. Because of this, installation required some creativity. I used several zip ties to temporarily hold the mounting canopy near the electrical box while I connected the wiring. I didn’t have a platform or ladder high enough to support the full weight of the fixture during this step. After wiring, I had to support the entire fixture while removing the zip ties, positioning the canopy, and securing it with the two cap nuts. Only then could I release the fixture. Aside from the mounting challenge, the full process—including removing the old fixture and installing the new one—took less than three hours. A very pleasant surprise was the inclusion of several extra crystals in the box in case any are damaged in the future. The finished light fixture is beautiful and looks stunning over our dining room table. We originally planned to install it in the kitchen, but since the bulbs point upward rather than outward or downward, it wouldn’t have provided enough light there. Over the dining room table, however, it provides ample light and works perfectly with our dimmer switch.

Very happy with how this looks in my kitchenette area. It was very easy to hang, my husband was able to do it on his own.
