My boyfriend assembled it for me. He said it was super easy. There are 2 ways it can be assembled it looked like. I opted for the original way it looks. Not sure about the other way. I need to go pick up bulbs tomorrow and will edit my review here with pics. I like that it can be used outside too.

When needed a hanging chandelier but that was plug in and this is perfect and not pricey at all! Love it!

Our dining room has no lights, which is bizarre. Instead of paying to add electrical wiring, we simply hung this over the dining room table and it provides adequate lighting. We might buy another to make it brighter, but it’s very pretty even with the wire going from the plug to the top of the wall and then dangling in the middle of the room.
