I’ve been looking at this light for a year before buying. This is a large, gorgeous light for a high ceiling entry-our ceiling is 11-12 ft. It ended up not as black as I wanted so we decided to give it to my parents for Christmas instead of painting it black. It’s definitely more silver than black tho it’s a gorgeous light. Easy to install and lighter weight. Love it. Sure wish it had worked for me, tho I might order it again and paint it if I can’t find anything else I like better. Edit-I went ahead and ordered this for myself and spray painted it black. Love it! We put in 40 watt bulbs-day light color-and it's like a flipping beacon. I'm going to have my hubby replace them with a little warmer color light (after he grumbles first-a LOT). I'm adding pictures of our black fixture-the last 3. Hope this helps.

Love this light, pretty center pendant for my dining room

Looks great! It is WAY larger than I pictured, but worked well in our house. The only negative is the wiring...they are the same color, so it was trial and error to see which wires to put together!

Perfect spot in a staircase landing with window !!
