Luminaire suspendu à cylindre simple 1 lumières Mauch

My husband and I set this pendant light up above our kitchen sink a few days ago. It looked nice and the light bulb that came with the pendant put off a good amount of light. Tonight was the first time we really had the light on. We turned it on while making dinner (about 30 minutes) and as soon as we sat down to eat, there was a large crash. The pendant cover had crashed down into our sink and small glass shards were found throughout the kitchen (including in our leftovers, which my husband later found mid-bite). Upon picking up the pieces, we noticed how hot the glass was. We felt the bulb next and it was extremely hot. I'm not sure what was faulty, the overly hot bulb or the security of the glass pendant cover, but 30 minutes of use should not make any light fixture come crashing down. I have a few other light fixtures and a fireplace coming from Wayfair over the next few days. I can only hope they do not hold the same fate.

Simple lights that look very nice in my powder room.

I needed a little pendant over a counter and purchased this, not really expecting to like it. I put an Edison vintage 40watt tubular bulb in it and it lights up the area perfectly and looks great. Exactly what I wanted.
