This was packaged well and all the parts were there with the instructions and a white glove. Due to unfortunate events, we were not able to install this light fixture as of yet but plan to in the next few weeks at which point I will update my review accordingly to be more helpful. I think we will end up painting the wooden piece black because the brown color of the wood is a very strange and odd fake looking color (this is made of real wood) and does not match our oak wood we have in the dining room as I had hoped. I already purchased light bulbs and hoping with the bottoms of the lanterns being opened, the light does shine down nice and bright onto the table. UPDATE: We painted this black and hung it up, the instructions were clear but the screws were not long enough and fortunately we had some on hand that would work. This fixture is heavy and solid, and I like this fixture much better black as the brown color and metal on the sides was an odd color (not red or brown - like in between orange color). The light bulbs you have to buy and we got the ones based on instructions (Edison bulbs) and they are nice and bright. Light up the room and table underneath (which was important to me). This is a beautiful chandelier! I absolutely love it! It finishes off our country home quite nicely. I've been waiting for something like this for over 12 years and I have finally found it. We were worried that the lanterns were going to look "cheap" and be made of plastic, but they are BEAUTIFUL and made of metal. The decorative touch in the hub of the wheel, just sets off the design as well. Husband installed the chandelier last night and when I came downstairs this morning, I was brought to tears at how beautiful it looks in my home. In my opinion it was worth every penny I paid. I love, love , love this lantern wagon wheel chandelier! I would buy another one if I had a place to hang it.

I love the chandelier. I can not wait to have it installed in my entrance way. It is nice and big and will hang down the way I wanted it too. It came really get away. It was packaged very well. I just have to get the bulbs. Love it
