*Do not buy! It stopped working within a month. You get what you pay for, I guess. The camera has good picture quality, but I encountered some difficulty after subscribing to the monthly plan. I had to reset the camera to enable motion detection, but it is working better now. Navigating the settings was challenging at first because it wouldn't detect motion its working great now, and despite having purchased a subscription, the cloud storage keeps prompting me to pay for cloud storage, which was irritating—considering the price, it's good buy once you figure out the settings. **Camera stopped working within 2 months NOT weatherproof.

I do not own any cameras yet, and so I am pretty green when it comes to being able to compare to something such as a Ring. With that being said, what looked like daunting and detailed instructions were actually quite simple to work with. I spent about 20 minutes configuring the app and settings and also trying to figure out a place where the camera said I had a strong signal. I could not get a strong signal whether I was indoors or outdoors. With the camera set to motion, it still recorded, despite saying the area I was in was not suitable for the camera. The motion sensor is something you can turn off. When the camera starts to record, there is an audible click. I like the solar attachment, though it will mean additional holes for installation.
