A very interesting looking piece of art. Depending on the light it is very hard to discern exactly what it is the base of this lamp is supposed to be. At times, it reminds me of the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, "The Sculpture." Those who have seen the show will understand and get a good laugh. With the light on, it is much easier to see the turtle. I suppose beauty is in eye of the beholder. This is a situation where the photo in the ad is much better than the item once received.

Love this lamp, it's adorable! He totally adds an unexpected element and whimsy to my guest room with his pondering expression. If you're looking for a lamp to add some fun to your home this guy will fit right in. I highly recommend.

Oh my this turtle lamp is the cutest lamp I’ve ever seen. When I walk past this lamp I’m amazed. We have a country farmhouse looking lamp theme here in my house. The more I see at Wayfair the more I buy. The more I buy the more creative I become . I love my turtle lamp,get this one girls.
