Sconce was smaller looking than I expected. It has an elegance about it and would do well in a modern or post-modern home. Another problem with the sconce is the side view shows the bulb and and the electrical mechanisms. My electrician had to bend the metal stem to hide these. That worked out okay. It works out much better if it is hung with a frontal view.
