I purchase these to highlight a large tree of life having I was gifted. The shade color is perfect because it does not take away from the actual art piece. I am still on the fence about he changing light colors Blue is nice but I wish I could choose the purple for continuous light. Some colors are only options on the color mode that constantly changes. The only thing that I do not like about these lights is that there is no bottom cover for the frame and that they are hung on a wall which exposes all of the chrome frame and hardware. The crime drives me nuts as it looks cheap next to the art piece. I might possible try to spray paint the frame a metallic rubbed bronze or such to mute the exposure to more my taste.
