You can start to hear it at about level 3 but still very low and steady so is great for sleep. It was hard to install. I ended out having to get someone else to do it for me because the space was very tight. But once installed I love the speeds and the color options on the light.

It was challenging to install because it was difficult to set up the receiver. The controller has a lot of buttons so it takes time to understand how to operate the fan and all of the settings.

What surprised us is that it ran with the remote and with light switch on wall. This upgrade gave us great lighting, fast airflow and we were able to simplify the rooms three panel switch to a two panel! A nice unexpected upgrade to the whole space. It looks really nice too! Very modern!
