The base plate is a really shiny chrome, so it has a mirror effect. The design seems nice and sturdy. I was a little worried about dusting it, but so far no issues. I recommend it.

It is so bright and modern, a little bit flashy and bold, but in a pretty silver that will fit well in most homes. It is small enough for use in any room, but still big enough to light up the room. It was easy to set up, and it looks great. If you like the tyle, you really should get this.
