How do you dim the light?? The fan I ordered says it has three color lights. How do I use this feature

The fan itself is a good strong well built fan. Unfortunately, thats where the pros end. There is no alternative to the remote to turn the lights or fan on or off. Just the remote. The instructions are poor. The remote though....its awful. It has a light on button and a light off button. When you push light on it goes from off to the next warmer setting then turn it off and back on it goes to the next warmest setting again. Thats the only way to change the color and you cant turn it on and off without changing the color. Thats crazy to me. There is no way to adjust the brightness at all. Awesome of the buttons dont make sense and if you cant find the remote, you are just stuck. I picked a fan too large for my space and thats on me but that isnt the reason I am taking this fan down. Its absurd how not user-friendly this thing is. Ill probably stick it in my shop because it is a seriously strong fan. Its just a terribly executed total package.
