We havent installed this yet, but it is beautiful. It is very heavy though so we know that we will definitely need to make sure it is anchored correctly. The deop is very long but can be shortened to almost nothing. Cant wait to put it up.

This piece is SO beautiful. It’s a nice heavy fixture and the materials seem to be very durable. The marble look is stunning. Packaging is perfect and no damage was sustained during shipping. instructions are a book, but most of the pages are just listing materials and such, the actual instructions are only 1 page. Updated to include a photo out of the box, and will update again with an installed photo.

This pendant is beautiful! The solid alabaster gives a warm glow that looks expensive, and the matte black accents look modern. The pendant is made from two joined alabaster pieces, but the way they made a decorative/indented seam really helps to blend the two pieces together. The light is cozy ambient lighting and subtle, so I wouldn’t depend on it as a primary light source. It’s more of a beautiful accent than functional lighting. I took the photos in the day time, so one of the lit photos is with natural light and the other is with the shades drawn. The trickiest part of the installation is the cord and how the LED driver is attached. The driver sits at the end of the long cord rather than up in the canopy, so if you shorten the cord you may find the cord and driver no longer fit inside the canopy or junction box. You can move the driver in the ceiling or rewire the driver after removing some of the cord so the canopy closes cleanly. A pro electrician will breeze through this. DIYers should plan for either a bit of rewiring or some other solution if you’re not planning to use the full length of the cord. If you want a refined, warm pendant and don’t mind a little extra install work, it is worth it. I highly recommend this fixture for an elegant island or dining space.
