I LOVE this pendant! It is GORGEOUS. It looks just like the pictures and I am so excited to get it installed in a room we are currently renovating. We have yet to install it (waiting on husband!) so I cant speak to the installation or how well it illuminates. But it takes two 60 watt (max) bulbs so Im not too concerned about how it will look after installation. Its lighter than I expected (which is great - makes it easy for me to move it around). One of the capiz panels is pulled off of the frame (in one of the images) so it is delicate. But Im not deterred. I will update review once installed but I am in love with this piece! UPDATE: We ended up putting the piece in our bedroom. It's still a gorgeous piece and emits just the perfect amount of light to create a soothing bedroom space. Two key things regarding installation: 1) one person can install this but it was pretty difficult to do; two people will make this easier to install (one to hook the electrical, the other to hold the pendant); and 2) not sure if the pendant length was meant to be easily adjusted because we had some trouble. My husband had to "break" part of the chain to shorten the length for our room. Keep this in mind - otherwise a beautiful centerpiece to our room!
