Bulbs are well packed to prevent breakage. Each bulb is in an individual box in the 4-pack. Only reason I knocked off one star is that one bulb in the 4-pack didn't work. It can happen with any product, so no big deal, but it wasn't easy getting a replacement bulb. I ended up ordering a second 4-pack, making sure I had 4 bulbs that worked, then returning the second 4-pack with the bad bulb. Once I got all 4 bulbs working, they're really bright and very nice. (Third picture, I used a flash so it wouldn't be so bright and you can see the individual LEDs.) Just be prepared if you get a bad bulb, because they only sell them in multiples of 4.

These G13 bi-pin replacement LED light bulbs (2 of the 4) were used in my basement storage room, and were very easy to switch out with the original fluorescent bulbs. They are bright and I am pleased with how they light up the room. The reason for being 4 stars is because they didn’t come with any information in the box about bypassing the ballast and if this step is absolutely necessary. The only way I remembered this was because I remembered seeing the diagram with the pictures in the original purchase link. These instructions weren’t very explanatory to someone like me who has no idea what they are looking at. I had my boyfriend do what the diagram said to do, and they wouldn’t work at all, so we had to put it back the way it was originally in order for them to work.
