Great option to changing the look of out dated overhead lights.

These lights are a great idea!!! I had never seen anything like them before spotting them on Wayfair. They install very easily, screwing in exactly like a light bulb. The neck extends by pulling it out from 4" to 6". There is also another 1" extension piece included that can be attached to extend the bulb/fixture neck to 7" (see photo). Be sure the neck extension is not pulled out all the way before you screw it in or there will be a space between the cover plate and the ceiling and you’ll have to start over. The first one was a trial for me and the others went in smoothy and perfectly flush to the ceiling. Once in, they give a great new look to the old recessed light fixtures in my kitchen; an upgrade to my kitchen in 15 minutes! I have included before and after pictures with lights off and on. The color is a bright white. The entire fixture is a very lightweight plastic. The diameter is 7-1/2 " I would absolutely purchase these again and recommend them. UPDATE AFTER A FEW DAYS: I still think these lights are a great idea but they are VERY Bright White. Too sterile for my kitchen area. I've moved them to my back entrance and laundry room. For my taste I like a warmer glow.
