The overall form of the unit is great because of clean lines. The frame of the lantern is a little plasticky for my taste but the glass shade feels solid. I was expecting the frame to be real steel. If it is, then it doesn’t feel like steel at all. The frosted inner shade had a nasty crack which I requested a replacement for I would have given it 4 stars if not for the break. The lighting fixture comes with everything you will need to mount it except for tools. The overall installation seems straightforward.

These lights have really updated the front of our house and give off more light than our previous lanterns. I like that they are bright while still covering the bulb for a more seamless look. The only thing I disliked was that the screws to attach the light to the wall plate are very short, so it was hard to line up the holes and hold them in place long enough to drill.
