Solid construction. Plenty of lead wire which is made copper and good thickness. Be sure to have a magnetic tip screw driver as the screws holding the top in are small. Simple three wire connection, wires are marked for ease of connections. I installed on pre existing 120 volt wired posts. They look awesome. Furnished with three 40 watt daylight bulbs might turn out to be a bit much for my neighborhood, but with the magnetic tip screwdriver for the screws, decreasing the bulb wattage won’t be an issue. Extremely happy with the fit, finish and overall look of these installed.
