Solid Wood Table Lamp

Excellent lamp -- I'm very glad that I ordered this one! Only suggestions would be to ensure that the wooden base doesn't unevenly dry and start to split after the manufacturing process, and to provide an easier way to prevent the power cord from becoming twisted while attaching the lamp socket to the base. Very happy overall!

I assembled and plugged in the lamp for the first time, and it blew out my fuse, so something is not right in the wiring. The bulb socket was pulled out of the lamp base for shipping in a very narrow box, so might be the wire was kinked and caused the short circuit in the lamp. Lovely lamp, but not good wiring/shipping format.
