Lovely but not sturdy enough

I really wanted to like this lamp and prove the other reviews wrong, that they were just victims of a faulty shipment, but.... well, for starters, it's definitely crooked. Looking at the product image now, I can even see it. The top curved piece that attaches to the light shade isn't even bent or damaged, it's just crooked and I'll have to stick it in a wood vise to try and sandwich the bend out. The glass table does have noticeable clear adhesive where its attached, which wasn't a deal breaker for me because I knew I was styling items on top of it, but it is a value reducer. The bend is what really annoys me though as I was putting this lamp in a corner of the room and it's much more obvious against the straight line of the corner that it's bent to the left. I should've just spent the extra $100 on a higher quality product.

Functions well and love the table aspect as well for maximizing smaller spaces
