[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This design is pretty and has an older look to it but also the modern touch of the brushed gold. I installed this light over my kitchen island to add some gold accents to my kitchen. The light can be connected to a dimmer switch but I wanted the full brigtness so I didn't need that option. I would not count on this light to give a daylight brightness because it has a white shade muting the glow but it works fine for my island. I originally was going to use it as a pendant light in my powder room but it wasn't bright enough by itself. I helped my husband install this and it was super easy as long as you have some basic electrical knowledge. The bending piece for sloped ceilings is stiff so you just have to use some force to staighten it out for the first time. As always, the quality of Kichler products is top notch and the details of all the parts are high quality.
