We have had two of these fans for a year and half. In this short period of time, the controls have malfunctioned a several times. Although they were able to be fixed a few of those times, I needed to replace one of the controls twice. Currently, neither control works. So now I need two more replacements. Replacing the controls every 6-12 months is a pain. This grievance is further amplified by the fact that it is very difficult to get the supplier to submit the warranty claim. When the fixtures actually work, they are great. However, the controls malfunction far too often. I do not recommend this fixture. It is nothing but a headache.

Let me tell you, though it only has 3 blades, the Ample Ceiling Fan puts out a lot of cool air. I installed this ceiling fan in my livingroom where it tends to get hot during the summer. This ceiling fan has helped with cooling the atmosphere. Installing was easy and the instructions that Kichler provided were easy to read. As always, before installation, make sure the power is shut off from the electrical box and confirm that the power is off where you ll be installing. Enjoy your new ceiling fan with cool breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a nice ceiling fan. It’s honestly probably the nicest one I currently have and I have three. The install was more of a moderate one with the switch/remote install but it’s soooo worth it. I don’t think I ever realized the huge difference having a remote to the fan/light makes. It has a very luxe feel by adding that in. The fan itself is beautiful with a very sleek but not cold design. The blades are beautiful with the touch of curve and it’s very high quality. It really pulls the master bedroom together. I feel like I need one in every room.

I must say I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of pieces included when installing. It's a lot for a ceiling fan. Directions are a must for this one. All in all, it's aesthetically pleasing, without a doubt. It goes well in my home matching the overall feel and decor. It spins easily and without problems, no creaks or excess noise. It definitely keeps us all cool in our moderately large living room during these extremely hot summer months here in South Carolina!

Being able to dim it for after dinner is a great bonus too. My husband was able to install this fast and instructions were super easy to follow along with. The removable hand held remote is great too, especially if you want to install this in a bedroom or sun-room. I highly recommend this!
