This is a beautifully made lamp! A bit pricey but I got it on sale. Worth every cent even at full price. It is heavy because it is made of metal, glass and lead, not plastic. No sharp edges. Very well packaged with lots of formed foam to protect it. It is everything I was hoping it to be and is perfect in my Butterfly Eden bedroom!

We LOVE this lamp. The colors of the glass are beautiful - just like the photos online, and the glass doesn't feel thin and cheap like some stained glass lamps do. The weight of the lamp is heavy enough to keep it from tipping, but not too heavy to move it if you need to. The metal butterfly overlays are delicate looking and really pretty. We have a couple of minor complaints... the metal leaves on the fixture are positioned in a way that makes it hard to move the lamp and the finial on top doesn't tighten down enough to keep the shade from spinning if one of our cats walks under it. We have another stained glass lamp with the same finial tightening problem, so we just bought some rubber gaskets at the hardware store to help raise the shade a bit so the finial will tighten down a little better and the shade won't spin.

I absolutely LOVE this lamp!!!! I have had my eye on it for some time and when it went on sale the timing was perfect! It was beyond my expectations!
