we love porcelain lamp...we have one for one of the coffee tables...then bought another matching coffee table for the other side of our couch...then started looking for a lamp that would compliment/go 'with' the other porcelain oriental lamp. When I saw this lamp, I showed my husband, and we both loved it immediately. It arrived exactly looking as it did on the website, only it is even more gorgeous !! The details of the flowers, birds, and the round porcelain round top [that matches the design of the lamp] are a joy to see each day... It was expensive, but when something brings you so much pleasure...it's worth it.

This lamp worked out great in my family room. The colors are bright, the size is perfect, and the style is just a classic.

After 3 failed shipment attempts (since Feb 2016), and despite receiving only the lampshades, I worked with the Wayfair team to investigate the missing items, providing details and photos. It took an additional month, but I finally received my long awaited lampbases!! Each lamp was individually packaged in its own box, securely packed in Styrofoam, and then packaged again in secondary shipper. Fragile stickers were also visible on outer shipper/box. When I opened first box, and removed the Styrofoam packaging, the lampbase, cord and finial were individually wrapped to further protect from scratches and damage. In perfect condition. When I opened the 2nd box, and removed all inner packaging, everything was in perfect condition, except for the lightswitch -which was bent at 90 degree angle. When I screwed in lightbulb and plugged electrical cord into the wall outlet, I was surprised the switch worked! While it is not visible under the large lampshade, and currently works, I don't know for how long? I have decided to keep the lampbase with SWITCH IN 'AS IS' CONDITION, as I do not want to return, then experience the same shipping issues. I will monitor the function of the switch and should it malfunction, I will take it to a local shop for repairs. As for the size of the lamps, they are substantial therefore require larger table or console surface. I have placed both lampshades on 6 foot long console behind my couch and they look proportional - not too large or small for space. Overall, while the shipping experience was poor, the lamps and shades are beautiful. I am happy with my purchase even though it look over 4 months to receive the lampbases themselves!

I was fortunate enough to buy this lamp "open box" but I didn't receive the shade with it and after several attempts at customer service to retrieve the shade I gave up and ordered a shade separately. I love this lamp very much and got such a great deal on it I didn't mind buying the shade separately even though it was supposed to be included with the lamp.
