Bought three of these fixtures... once installed the looked great. We've had lots of positive response to them. Most noteworthy is they don't look like any of the more traditional styles that populate our neighorhood.

They look very modern and add so much style to the house. We ordered 4. Two for the front entrance and 2 for the back yard stairs. We are super happy with them. They are well worth the price. I looked for over a year and these were by far the nicest ones I found. They a ppear yellow because they are lit. When turned off they are white frosted glass with black metal frame. Highly recommend. A year later I changed my review from 5 to 3 stars. The reason is even though I still love these lanterns the frosted glass is almost paper thin especially at the top corners. If you remove the glass for cleaning and you ever so slightly knock it during handling it will break so easily. I already chipped 2 of the 4 I purchased. The glass is ultra thin! For outdoor lights and at that price the frosted glass should definitely be way thicker.

If you want to add a modern touch to your house, this is a good choice!
