I used a pair of these lanterns flanking my garage doors. The seed glass design is very pretty and casts a warm glow, reminiscent of old English villages. The picture shows a long torch-like tail. This feature is optional and a matter of preference. If you would prefer a shorter fixture, you can choose to screw the bottom finial seen in the pictures directly to the bulbous end a few inches below the lantern. I use LED bulbs for the best look and the lowest electrical costs. Why spend hundreds of dollars at an overpriced specialty lighting store when you can purchase the same quality home design accents for much less and from the comfort of your home. Love the size! Were lighter than I imagined but considering they are cone like that is justified! Perfect for my house!
