Do not buy this lamp. I can't believe how much this shoddily constructed lamp cost when it is made out of the cheapest materials. For one, regular lightbulbs don't fit inside the "shade" so you will need to get a smaller bulb if you don't want the light blinding you. It also only turns one way and feels like its going to break with too much adjusting. Cheap product, don't waste your money.

I gave it 4 stars because the shade was a little short to cover the light bulb and it shined in my eyes. I had to twist or turn the light shade away from me. It's a little top heavy and can tip easily. The container for your pens, pencils, etc. is divided into four sections with thin plastic dividers. One divider was cracked and is very flimsy, but it serves my purpose and keeps things organized.
