The item came well packaged and directions were clear. It took a few hours for my husband to hang it. The only thing I would think would make it better is having a slightly thicker and not so plain shade.

Good looking light, it was easy to assemble, works with our dimmer switch (buy the dimmable bulbs though). Only problem was one of the shades had a buckled area that would not straighten out, so we turned that damaged area toward another shade to help hide it. Disappointed with that, guess that's why it was on sale.
