So I really like the design of this ceiling fan and the assembly was fairly simple. The materials in this feeling fan is truly quality materials but this is a very heavy fan so a professional installation may be necessary so it is supported and stabilized and wont fall or damage the ceiling joints.

I was looking to add a ceiling fan/light in my guest room and wanted something a little more fancy than the traditional. I ordered this one, and it is perfect! It dims nicely and isn't too bright! The fan works perfectly, and the fan blades tucking away when not in use is just perfect! The only downside is when I had an electrician install it, he was unable to connect it to a wall switch. I still plan on calling the company to see if there is some trick because I would prefer it not to be fully dependent on a remote control.

At first, installation was a bit intimidating with all the parts and wires but not difficult at all with the detailed instructions. I did buy a longer down rod. The unit is sleek and very modern looking. The fan moves air very quietly and well. We love it and so do my friends when they come by.

These retractable fans are awesome. One minute it’s just a light and then boom it’s a fan. Every time I have a visitor they are surprised when I turn it on. Great conversation piece also great air circulation! qualccirculation.
