These lamps with longer, sectioned stems that have to be assembled, use to drive me nuts! You're twisting the head one way and you can sense the power cord inside the tube twisting the OTHER way and you know in your heart-of-hearts that if you give it that "one more twist" to make it secure to the base, something's gonna snap. So you quit while you're ahead and have a wonky lamp that will never be truly vertical in your lifetime. Finally I learned most of these lamps have a removable felt base to protect furniture from scratches. The cord usually comes out from a hole in the side of the base. Peel back the felt, hold the cord where it comes out the tube and un-twist cord as you're twisting the head. Felt will stick right back to lamp base. Save yourself some grief and get another person to handle one end of a floor lamp.

Exactly what I was looking for! Good quality and looks beautiful. I slightly wish I’d gone with a solid shade since the bulb is very bright. We love the style.

I love the look of this lamp. However I wish I’d not selected the clear shade. It’s too glaring even with a low watt bulb.

Beautiful! I was worried about the glass shade but it isn’t too glaring. Absolutely love them in the room.
