These are nice lights and much more modern than the ones we replaced. We bought two sets of 3 lights for over our kitchen sink area and one set of 5 lights for over the kitchen table. The instructions that came with the lights really didn't explain anything about how to assemble them. Basically, each package contained 3 or 5 single pendant lights complete with a mounting brackets for each of the individual lights. This meant we were paying for a lot of hardware that was not needed. Also, the 3-light and 5-light fixtures use the same 13" diameter canopy that goes up against the ceiling. For the 5 light fixture, that means you have to cram a lot of wires p into a very small space. A larger canopy would have been nice to have. Also it would have been nice to not have had to pay for all the superfluous hardware.
