Lumière enveloppante à DEL 1 pi x 4 pi

For the past few months, I've known it was time to replace the dim, buzzing fluorescent light in my kitchen with its constant flickering and failure to power on 98% of the time; I just did not know what I was going to get to replace it until I saw Lithonia Lighting's gorgeous rounded edge fluorescent light. The fluorescent lamp is clear, bright and cool to the touch and since it does not use as much energy as a traditional incandescent light bulb, it is providing this single mom and teacher with 25% - 35% energy savings. It is also long lasting - 10,000 hours+ - compared to a traditional incandescent bulb 800 to 1,500 hours. My only complaint is that fluorescent lighting includes a small amount of mercury liquid inside of it, which is converted into a mercury vapor when the lamp is turned on and can impose a small threat of mercury exposure to my family.

I like that it’s led, so it will last longer and I won’t have to replace the long tube bulbs like my old fluorescent fixture. Installing took 40 minutes and was straight forward with no issues. I do wish that it had a motion sensor to just turn off/on by itself. Overall I am happy with the light.

I personally replaced a 2-tube light fixture in my garage that had been flickering and slowly dimming for months. This light went in relatively easily as a replacement and surprisingly emits a much more pleasant to the eye. The brightness is on par with what my previous fixture used to produce. The light turn's on instantly with no delay from my wall switch the way I have it connected. 100% would recommend replacement of your current traditional fixture.
