I took two stars off because you would need a cluster of these to use as a light source on a table. The unit is small and the light inside is tiny. When it’s dark, it’s mostly a decorative item. I would say the same if they were to be used on top of a post.

This is such a cute little lantern. It fits perfectly on my fence post. It charged quickly. And what a nice pattern— a lovely light. Not too much— this won’t illuminate— but it also won’t disturb any sleeping creatures.

This small solar light adds just what I needed on the patio table. It allows enough light to better see snacks and drinks and the pattern from the light is just lovely. Setting the solar light is as simple as turning it on and setting it in a location where it gets exposure to daylight.

This little lantern is so cute! While it doesn’t give off a lot of light, the light pattern is very unique. It was charged and ready to go when I received it. Rather than using it outside, Im choosing to use it as a night light on my windowsill. It is solar- powered so make sure you place it in a sunny spot so that you can enjoy the ambiance it provides. The shipping box was in bad condition when it arrived but the lantern was fine.

I was disappointed in this solar outdoor lantern. In my opinion it is tiny. I’m not sure it will have an impact outside, maybe on a small table. The lantern is pretty though so maybe on a small table .
