I was undecided, between this lamp with two outlets, or the models with usb andor outlet. In the end i decided to go with this model. I felt the outlets we all have in our homes had more life than the usb outlets which are limited to their current designed output. The lamps are extremely durable with commercial style toggle switches. The shades are held on with all metal hardware and offer a very high end look. (Note, The shades have protective plastic on them for shipping, which I had not removed at the time of pic)
