Ive installed many chandeliers, fans and other light fixtures over the years and this is absolutely the worst experience Ive had. That is due to a number of factors, both in the lack of quality of the product and in the useless instructions. Starting with the instructions, again, they are useless. There are links within the instructions to access video guidance and none work. As an engineer, I can generally figure out how to assemble something without instructions if I need to, but these instructions almost made me more confused. We ended up going in a different order of operations than the pictures dictated and found that that worked better. Specifically, we had to assemble the entire chandelier before han it also doesnt call out the pitfalls in assembly that will cause you to bang your head against a wall, one of which is that there is a relief cut for the wire to escape from the bottom shaft so that it can be housed within ging it. This is a very heavy light,..very heavy. Now to the quality of the product... In order to assemble this lamp, there is a lot of threading of two pieces of metal together. All of these threads are poorly designed with no lead-in features, which meant cross-th also, the thickness of each of the tubes is very thin and we have genuine concerns that it can hold the weight of the chandelier . The primary shaft that connects the ceiling mount to the chandelier bent under the weight of the chandelier as we tried to hang it. Fortunately, theres enough angles in the design that you dont really notice the bent shaft. My last complaint and arguably one of the most frustrating is that the description specifically states that you can adjust the temperature of the light, however, that is not accurate. This is a 5000 Kelvin super bright sterile light and I prefer warmer tones. So ultimately after nearly 4 hours of fighting this thing, its now going to be an art feature instead of a light.... And I dont even really like the design. It will cost me more to return it than to just keep it.
