Even though this fixture measures as the description indicated, it looks larger. The mercury glass is attractive, especially when illuminated. I’m disappointed with the rough appearance of the metal ring around the base. It looks industrial rather than polished as the photos suggest. The black cord is a major distraction. I ordered a cord cover for it to see if that might help. In the meantime, though, I’ve decided that the disappointment I feel when I look at it isn't going away. Sadly, this is going back.

Like some of the other reviewers, this GORGEOUS light is a bit bigger than I expected, so I moved it to the dining room and it is total show stopper. I’m totally smitten with it! Excellent packing and much much prettier than I expected. Unbeatable price too.

It’s great the shape and color are amazing The shine of the mercury color is very beautiful and has a nice spotted pattern that will go with my home well and makes the whole place feel more inviting and cozy. Its Easy to install while following the directions and getting some help if needed and I did indeed need help but Definitely worth it I highly recommend it it's an absolute beauty to have in your home.
