Luminaire suspendu 7 lumières

On opening the box, I discovered all seven of the glass globes included with this pendent light were broken. As I made this unfortunate discovery a few weeks after I had ordered the light, I haven’t notified Wayfair of this issue. I could tell that this light is very unique and all of it appears to be metal with no plastic pieces. I did take issue with the assembly instructions which consisted of a drawing of the light once put together and a drawing of the wiring connection assembly that connects to the ceiling. There are no pieces marked with any identifying letters or numbers. There were no other instructions included with the fixture. I had difficulty determining which part connected where by the drawing. Each set of “branches” of the light has a “y” in the center which needed to be unscrewed and the wires connected. Then I discovered the Allen screws were too big to fit inside the threaded holes where the pieces fit together at the “y” that hold the branches in place. The Allen wrench provided with the screws and wire covers is too small to tighten the screws. Although I wasn’t able to install the light at this time, I can see from what I have assembled that this will be something that is eye catching and functional once I get the correct size Allen screws and replace the broken glass globes.

It looks good at first glance. However, it’s very long, even with high ceilings. There is no way to adjust the height. Be sure to check the measurements. Also, the bulb cover is huge, I added a can with it to show the size. The top piece which holds the fixture together is wobbly. The whole fixture kept moving. The sizing and unstableness didn’t work for us.

Wow, these are stunning pendants! There is a bit of variation after assembling two of them (the angles seem to vary ever so slightly) but I’m hoping this is something that’s noticeable only to us as the homeowners.
